My Favorite Photo

This is one of my favorite photos of the year:
Everything is genuine. The smile, the "To infinity and beyond" shout and the wings. Well, the wings are fake, but Kyle thought they were real.

I don't think he's ever loved his reflection more.

"Flying" through the house:
He has also perfected, "Star Command, come in Star Command," shooting the laser out of his arm and wrestling the evil Zurg (Tim). Could life be any better for this boy? He is obsessed with being Buzz!

Babies of the House

These three just eat, sleep and....

make us smile!

Taylor, (17) Nolan (7.5 weeks) and Reed ( 10 weeks)

Since You've Been Gone...

We celebrated Curbo's birthday with a surprise birthday party! I love surprises and it was so fun to see Curbo with some of his friends. Here's the 30 year-old with his 17 year-old brother. You be the judge of who has the better red beard.

Did you notice anything else odd about that photo?

Nolan is still the best baby ever. I just need to figure out how to get him to start going to the bathroom more regular. The only thing regular right now are his blow-outs every couple of days. TMI? Sorry.

I can't believe how fast he is growing. I want him to stay a newborn forever!

La Leche League

Two newborns under one roof=
Double the crying
Double the dirty diapers
Double the gas
Double the hungry mothers
Double the bouncers, well just
Double the mess...
Double the nursing mothers

Double the cuteness! Double the fun!
Reed is 2.5 weeks older than Nolan so we have a lot of fun with these babies! Candace and I are on the couch nursing so often during the day that I had the idea to start a La Leche League at my parents' house. For some reason my Dad vetoed it...

My Big Boy

Here Kyle is excited to go see Toy Story 3 with his dad:

Just as exciting as seeing his favorite movie is driving Uncle Curbo's truck!! Curbo sure spoils Kyle. Whenever Curtis gets home from work Kyle is ready to wrestle and won't leave him alone until they do!

Well it's no secret that transitioning to two kids has been hard for me, but it also has been to this cute little man. We've had our fair share of time-outs over here, but at the end of the day I can't help but love my Kyle boy! He is at such a fun age, I don't want to forget the fun things he does. He loves to go swimming and is not afraid to jump or go under the water. He is into pretend now, looks forward to going to friends' homes, still loves music and is quite the chatterbox. Tim wakes up with Kyle and then when he comes to see me I can't believe how loud he is! He just talks and talks and asks everyone, "What you doing?" Lately he has said, "I'm sorry Mama," when he does something on accident and I think it's so cute.

He continues to ignore Nolan, which I rather he do than be too rough with him. Every day though he says, "Come on Nolan, come on baby brother, come play piano," and then he continues to escort Nolan and I into where the piano room is so he can play us songs.

He is very, very into his routines. Every morning Tim has to kiss me and then kiss Kyle before leaving to work or Kyle gets thrown off. He cries most when his routines (some of them are made up and decided in his head) are ruined. He keeps me laughing and I couldn't help but get him out of bed to cuddle last night. He is getting to be such a big kid!

One Month and Three Days Later...

We have our first family picture. Not quite what I had in mind, but it makes me smile nonetheless.
