Kyle not only has "blow outs" quite frequently these days, but when I was feeding him this morning I suddenly felt a wet warmth. Gross! Can anyone recommend a brand of diapers that will keep everything IN instead of leaking it OUT? We've tried the Pampers Swaddlers and Huggies,
And if you can solve that problem, do you have any suggestions on how to lose the pregnancy weight when it's 18 degrees outside and all you can do is stay in and you'd rather sleep than do crunches? Thanks! :)

Growing Boy

Kyle is almost 3 weeks old! At his 2 week check up he was in the 75-80th percentile for length and 50th percentile for weight. Long and skinny...sounds like his dad!

Today was a great day because Tim's law school applications are officially in and my brother, Curtis, did really well on the GMAT today. Way to go Curbo! Now our waiting game begins. I can't wait to find out where we'll be this fall!

Mr. Mom
On Friday I woke up with a fever, but luckily Tim was able to take care of Kyle while I tried to get better. I got out of bed at 12:30 to find this scene. It must have been a long morning!

Here are my boys on a better day:

Kyle is looking like a little man these days. We loved this outfit from Grandma!

Everyone comments on how long Kyle's fingers and toes are (definitely not a Heyman trait). I tried to get a picture of his fingers, but instead captured him trying to sign I love you. His aunt Alli has been teaching him sign everytime she visits :)

Tomorrow is his two week check up. Time flies!

Many Firsts
First car ride home:

We love having Kyle home with us! He looked so little in his car seat. My mom made him the blue beanie.

First Suns Game:
Kyle is also the newest Suns fan. Aunt Alli was going to the Suns vs. Jazz game, and we couldn't resist putting him in the outfit she got him to support the Suns. We were trying to teach him to cheer for Nash.

First Tan:
Next, we learned Kyle was jaundice. This broke my heart, but I managed not to cry too much as we put him in for his first tan.

He was almost too long for the oven. He kept on hitting all sides of it! We loved his little interlocked toes:

First bath:
After a big spit up, Kyle got his first bath from Grandma. We love having Grandma here!!!

Maybe tonight will be the first time he sleeps through the night?? :)

Tim Changed a Diaper!
Tim changed his first diaper EVER yesterday and I was so proud.

Kyle is doing really well. We are still working on breastfeeding. He loves to suck on his bottom lip instead of fully latching on. This is a good representation:

We get to go home today and I am so excited, except we have to drive through a snowstorm! I will have to post the delivery story sometime. It was a quick delivery and the easiest part of my pregnancy!

40+ Weeks
Yep, I'm just trucking along. I went to the doctor last week and have no update. There are no signs of upcoming labor and I'm not dilating yet. I start going to the dr. twice a week for NST tests. He did tell me before that the 14th would be the latest... so hopefully that means I only have one week left! I'm trying not to keep track anymore. It gets tiring.
