Here we are riding over to our dinky plane. Still not nervous.
Suddenly the door opens up at the first guy jumped. Ok. Still not nervous. Then I watch Chris jump out doing a back flip!!! "Oh my! Oh my! Oh my!" I start yelling. Definitely nervous. At the same time I am waddling up closer to the door because I'm attached to the guy. Next my mom jumps out and I remember thinking, "You really just fall! There's nothing to catch you!" And next thing I know the 18 year old refuses to repeat what I'm supposed to do and he says, "Ready? Let's go!" Basically they give you no time to freak out because it all happens so fast. Tim doesn't recall watching me jump and he was after me. I jumped into a bunch of clouds and reminded myself to a) breathe and b) open my eyes as we did the free fall (speeds up to 120 mph).
As soon as the big parachute opened up I told the kid that I loved him because he made me live. From then on it was relaxing to be honest. The view was amazing. We were right over the ocean, mountains and green plants. It was beautiful!!! Tim even came close by me.

Taylor was also happy. Although he was too young to jump, even with parental permission, he rode in the plane with us. Tim's guy told the pilot how badly Scooter wanted to jump, and to give him a good ride. After we all jumped Taylor apparently did nose dive, barrel twists, turns, whatever... everything crazy that you probably shouldn't do in a plane, right over the ocean. He had just as much fun as the rest of us... but was told not to say anything until he got back into the car :).
I love this shot of Chris:
Now this is a real smile!:
TRay getting ready to land:
Did I mention I felt the need to be free like a bird?:

Wow that looks so fun! I have always wanted to go skydiving but I think I would be too scared haha. It looks like you had an amazing trip!
WOO HOO!! It really was awesome!!
Mom :)
i am so impressed with your bravery! i love that jumping out of a plane was one of the only things that got a real smile out of chris. next time we are all in hawaii together i will definitely be skydiving with you guys!
Hey Jennifer! Thanks for visiting my blog! I can't believe you went skydiving. You are so brave. It looks like you had an amazing time in Hawaii. :-)
It made me sick to my stomach just to read about this! You are soooo brave!
Goodness! Hawaii looks AMAZING. I want to go agian so bad. All the pictures you got are so fun...the one of you and your mom hugging is my favorite. That was a great moment that got captured! We had so so much fun with you guys on Saturday night. It was great to hear your vacation stories first hand! We would love to go to the coast with you guys! Lets plan it! Maybe we could hook up with Cara and Jeff too? Babies at the beach would be so fun, and I am ALWAYS ALWAYS up for going to the beach.
I am so glad you got to go skydiving! Everyone should do it. I went when I was 18 and loved it. Isn't it weird that you don't really feel like you are falling because there is so much wind pressure? That is how I felt. It is just like flying. That is why it is so awesome!
I can't believe it! I would be nervous from the moment the idea were introduced! I'm not even sure I'd have the guts to go! I'm glad you had an awesome time.
Oh my goodness, how fun!!! I think I'd pee my pants!
Sounds like an amazing trip Jen. jon and I can't believe youguys went skydiving. I don't even think I would do that and I will usually try almost any extreme sport. Thats great! we miss youguys and I had so much fun seeing you.
I have never wanted to sky dive until reading this post. Sounds like a blast!
You are so brave! I always thought I wanted to go, but as I've gotten older, my bravery is fading, and my fear is increasing. As I read your blog, my tummy was full of butterflies for you! It seems like it was an amazing experience though =-)
I still can't belive you did it! That is so freakin awesome! Maybe someday Nathan can talk me into doing it with him. You are definately high on my cool list now. (I guess you were already up there before)
You are CRAZY! I could never do that, but I admire people who can! Awesome!
OMG!!
I can't believe you went sky diving!! Just reading your post made me have a nervous stomach. THat's just awesome.
So I think I was in your brother's ward at BYU at some point...random, I know but it's true. But he probably would recognize me or know me because I was a nerd and still am.
